Forum on Entertainment and Sports Law
The Forum on Entertainment and Sports Industries Mentorship Program pairs attorneys and law students with seasoned practitioners for one-on-one guidance and support. Mentees will receive personalized mentorship from experienced professionals working within the industry, along with access to exclusive programming and professional development opportunities. This program is a valuable opportunity for young attorneys (with five or fewer years of experience), law students, and lawyers transitioning into the entertainment and sports sectors.

Thank you for making a meaningful impact on their futures.
Our Impact
Breaking into the entertainment and sports industry as a
current or aspiring legal professional is notoriously difficult. Relationships
can set interested candidates apart from the rest and mentorship can provide
guidance as professionals navigate the industry. In its inaugural year, the
Forum received over 200 applications from a diverse set of interested mentees.
The application volume demonstrates the desire professionals have for the
program. Within the competitive mentee class, some mentees successfully
transitioned to impressive new roles within entertainment and sports
during their time in the program. In addition to the new roles for some,
mentees learned from these relationships how to be better lawyers and make
meaningful contributions to the legal community. Participation in the program
has demonstrated immediate impact for mentees and it's only been one
year.
The benefits of the program don't end once the bar year is
over. The program also provides pathways to Forum leadership opportunities
for impactful mentees, setting up mentees for continued success once they
complete the program. As a national organization with a wide variety of
entertainment and sports divisions, the Forum is uniquely positioned to pair
accomplished attorneys with the next generation of entertainment and sports
legal professionals.
